Well, for me, coming up with ideas for XYZ is always quite challenging. You'll see:
"X" is for e"x"tinct!
We researched some extinct animals, printed out some pictures and colored them
They actually enjoyed this more than I thought that they would. Sunshine asked to do it again the next day. Socrates thought he was getting ripped off with such a "lame" idea and that it was too much like school, not summer, but soon he was just as into it as the others.
"Y" is for Yarn. We made some yarn designs. None of the kids were up for this one. ; )
Just to let you know, all of the pictures for "X" and "Y" are courtesy of Socrates. He snapped them all!
He also took this picture of this Wii game. Do you see the plastic on the side of the game box? He actually pulled the plastic covering back so that it wouldn't reflect and he could get a better picture. Too cute ; ) Always such a "thinker'. I love it.
"Z" is for you. One would think I would have a lot of pictures from the zoo, but I wasn't feeling well that day and only snapped a few and of the ones I did take, none really turned out. I was disappointed. BUT, we have a fun picture of the kids with their PaPa Stark outside the aquarium in Newport, OR; it's close, right and brings us back full circle to the beginning of our ABC's for the summer.
That's our summer! Thanks for joining us!
Off to school now!
