"V" is not the easiest letter to use for this summer project. Sooooo, we, meaning I, had to get creatiVe. I have not been sleeping very well at all the last few weeks. During one of my late-night working sessions, I made had a great idea for our "V" day; I even wrote it down. However . . . . I could not find the paper, even after searching through the recycling (wasn't diving into the trash, sorry kidd-os!)
We Ventured to Target to get school supplies
Then I told each child that he/she could pick out something that started with a "V"
Socrates picked out a vehicle (his idea! He wanted a transformer and I said, "That doesn't start with a '"v." To which he replied, but it is a vehicle." He had me there).
Spielberg chose Vitaminwater.
Sunshine picked out a little snack for vittels (which isn't actually a word, at least in my iMac dictionary)
And, since I have not been sleeping well, I picked up a bottle of Valerian Root. We'll see if it helps tonight.
