Out and on His Way Home
For those of you who have been following along, my dad made it out of surgery and is on his way home for recovery. It looks as thought the cancer has been contained to the lymph nodes that they removed. Thank you for your concern and all of your prayers. As this has been his 2nd Christmas in a row recovering from surgery, we hope that this is not a new tradition and he will be able to stay away from the operating room next Christmas.

That's great news! My dad has recovered from skin and prostate cancer, and I know it's not fun or easy to see your tough protector in the role of hospital patient...I hope this will all soon be behind you.
