She is very gifted at explaining Biblical truths in an easy-to-follow and tender way; you might want to check it out, I do not think yo will be disappointed. Today she discussed witnesses to Christ and how that helps us to know that Jesus is the Christ, or Messiah. This also helped me to remember in 2nd Peter that Peter was a witness to Christ's 2nd coming. God gave him an actual eyewitness account, how amazing is that? God took John and showed him so much more in Revelation, but he gave Peter, and a few others, an eyewitness account of it as well. What gracious love God has to us to not expect us to follow him blindly. He sent prophets to foretell of Christ's first coming and a visual representation as well: Daniel was given an eyewitness account of Christ and the Great Tribulation, Moses to God the man (Christ). In addition to the many prophecies, He also gave eyewitness accounts to people about His second coming. He is God and since he is holy and He expects us to be holy, He did not have to give us these gifts of prophecies and/or eyewitness accounts, we can see His power through His mighty creation; but, He did. He knows our weaknesses and our limitations and loves us accordingly, and oh so much more than we could ever deserve. He loves us so graciously; we truly are without excuse.
