Dad update

My dad is doing okay.  He had his surgery to remove the cancerous lymph nodes before Christmas and was able to be home by Christmas Eve.  Last week they got the results from the biopsies taken from the lymph nodes: 10 out of the 16 were cancerous.  Now, he is scheduling radiation to hopefully get the rest of the cancer in his neck because the cannot open his neck up again with out totally deforming him (my mom said that he would lose 1/2 his neck if they had to do it again).  After the radiation, we'll just have to wait and see if it spreads anywhere else.  Melanoma can either be very aggressive right away, or move to another part of the body and stay dormant for a long time.  Thank you for all of your prayers, they are appreciated.
