After over 90 years of being tied to this earth, Eunice A. Dietz has gone to her true home (heaven). She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She lived a life loving her Creator in not only words, but in deeds as well. I have so many mixed emotions as I wright this as I am so sad to not every get to hug her again and that my children will not get to know what a truly amazing woman of God she was. But, on the other hand, I am glad that the pains of this world have ended for her and she is now in a place whose beauty I cannot even fathom. She will be missed. I can hardly wait for the day that I get to dine again with her at the great feast!
You know what is funny? The "random" things you remember about people. Here are a few about my grandma: she made the most amazing hash-browns (I'm still not sure how they ended up green, but they were good!), her generosity, she would play cards (King's Corners) with me for hours when I was little, she told me so many stories about her family and Kansas, her love for her family, church and friends, she always had a bowl of candy on her coffee table, playing in the trees behind her house, bags of hidden candy in the drawers (she loved those marshmallow peanuts, do they still make those?), the picture of The Last Supper in her kitchen, she had so many dishes, she was gracious and stern all at the same time (quite a feet).
I miss her already!
Blessings to all of you.

Aww...she's fortunate to have people who can remember so many little things about her. And aren't you so grateful for pictures like this one?
I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's Shawna from MOPS!
Very sweet post. What a wonderful woman she must have been.
