After I took the sheets of the bed this morning to wash them, I walked back into the room and Kenzie was jumping up and down on the the bed like a crazy woman, very determined. I said, "Kenzie, you are not supposed to jump on the bed, you need to get down." She stopped looked at me with her big brown eyes and in the most serious voice her little 3 year old vocal cords could muster she replied, as she was flapping her arms, "But Mom, I'm trying to fly . . . like a butterfly!" Now, who would say, "No," to that. I had to just hug and squeeze that little butterfly. Still, not even butterflies get to jump on the bed.
