St. Louis Zoo
Friday we went to the St. Louis zoo with Aunt Stacy, Uncle Steve and my friend Briana. I have been promising Braden a trip to the zoo all summer. When we lived in Washington we went at least once a month to the Woodland Park Zoo. In Texas, it was WAY too far away to go and it has just been too hot here this summer here in Tennessee. Although it was over 100 when we were there Friday. We all had a lot of fun though.

Braden was heart-broken that he was not able to see a zebra and Grant's Farm the day before (it was on the map, but not there to see). So, he was quite excited to see one at the zoo.

We took the kids on a carousel ride and the all loved it. Mackenzie did NOT want to get off, especially after she saw the giraffe that she did NOT get to ride. This is her screaming, "Jaf! Jaf! Jaf!" Her word, obviously for giraffe. She eventually settled down when we went into the 40 degree penguin house.

Uncle Steve and Kenzie. Kenzie was at Uncle Steve's side almost the entire day.
And, finally, the fun at the zoo had to come to an end.
