We always end "Birthday Season" in our house with Spielberg. On Saturday he turned 8! I can hardly believe it! This means that he is 1/2 way to driving. And, the next 8 years will most likely go even faster than the 8 we just finished. AHHHH! This is so hard to believe. It seems like just a few months ago, I was rocking him in his rocking chair and tucking in him in for the night. I am excited to see all he will learn, accomplish and become in the next 8 years. He loves football and his favorite team is the Tennessee Titans, so his theme for his party was Titan's Football. He had a great day. He was, however, a little disappointed in not getting to open very many presents, but his BIG present from us was to make-over his room with baseball and football (which cost WAY more than toys). We'll post pictures of his room when it is finished, but there are still a few things on back order.

My son is turning 8 next month. I don't know why that seems so old, but it does. Where did the time go?
I already read this a long time ago, but I am behind on commenting...I always love your party decorations so much (and loved Socrates' pizza). Also, if I didn't already say, I love how you did the ABC countdown activities with your kids - really fun!
