Grandpa had a big surprise for the two older boys: he bought a tent and they camped out in our backyard on Friday night. They have been asking to do this for a long time. I was all for it, for while they were on a sugar high from all the candy they ate and sleeping (not until much later) outside, I was warm and snug in our bed, talk about a win-win situation! Anyway, the boys loved it and it was treasured memory to share with one of their grandpas. Sunshine got to play out in the tent for a little bit, but then came in for some "girl" time and to sleep in her own bed.
