Faith Like a Child

Matthew 19:14, Mark 10:14 and Luke 18:16 all say, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  What is child-like faith?  Mackenzie can tell you!  What is a Biblical perspective of hope?  Mackenzie can tell you.  At only three, Mackenzie has these to figured out (let's just hope she doesn't forget!).
Every night we go around the table and each say something(s) for which we are thankful.  EVERY night Mackenzie says that she is thankful for the "Giant Bengal Tiger" she saw in the store a few weeks ago.  EVERY night we say, "Mackenzie, you do not have a 'Giant Bengal Tiger'."  EVERY night she replies, "Santa will bring it!"  What faith, what hope!  She is so confident in her hope and cannot understand why we would even say, " . . . you do not have a 'Giant Bengal Tiger'."  I believe this is such a beautiful and innocent example of Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being SURE of what we hope for and  CERTAIN of what we do not see."  She is quite sure and quite certain that she is getting that tiger. . . . she's already thankful for it.  And, not in a manipulative way, "If I thank God for it, then he Has to give it to me."

I LOVE IT!
