We all had a very nice Christmas! Christmas Eve we went to church and then spent the day relaxing and making cookies to leave out for Santa.

How about a nice picture for Mom for Christmas . . . . I don't think so!!

At least I could get two to cooperate at the same time. Oh, maybe next year.

Christmas morning. There is no way to capture in a picture how excited they were. Braden could hardly contain himself running around the house saying, "He came, he arrived, he arrived." I realized it was just a glimpse of the excitement I would feel when my Saviour arrives back on Earth!

Braden is really into farm animals and tractors right now.

"Wow, my very own set of golf clubs and balls!" Kelan loves all sports and he carried the golf club around all morning until we had to take it away as he was not really using in the manner for which it was intended. ;)

"Presents? I don't need no stinking presents . . . I'll just finish this cookie here that that Santa guy was foolish enough to NOT finish. Crazy guy!"

Mackenzie got this cute little Cabbage Patch newborn and she carries it around saying, "Baby, baby, baby." If she does not have it with her, I will ask her where her baby is and she takes off in search of it. She would not let it out of her sight for at least 3 full days.

Love the pictures, Karie! And a great analogy of how exciting that day will be when He (the Lord) does arrive! Thanks for sharing the joy!
