Well, this is the last week of summer for us here in our neck of the woods. Soooo, I thought we would try to make it a little fun, yet educational at the same time. This week we will be doing activities with each activity beginning with a letter of the alphabet. We are going to try to do this in one week. I have some friends that do this for the entire summer with each day being a different letter, but we're going to try to pack it into one week. The kids are excited about it. It definitely gives Spielberg some more structure, so that is goooooood!
We started Monday with A-E
A, we got a picture of them All together. . .
B, we Built a castle
(despite their faces, they love the castle, it's the pausing to pose for the camera that is wearing on them.)
C, we made Carmel Chip bars. Socrates was such the chef! He stirred the carmel for over 20 minutes, until the first layer of the bars was ready for the camel to be poured on it.
D, the kids made cards for Dad.
E, we ate egg sandwiches for lunch (haven't had those for years!).
