I have been thinking of making a pillow case dress for a while now, but have never found one that I would like to actually have in a dress. Or, if I did, the pillow case was still around $30 or so and did not trust my rudimentary sewing skills to make that pricey of a purchase. Well, I was at PB on Wednesday night and found one that I absolutely loved and finally took the plunge. However, when I got home I realized that I had gotten a pillow sham instead of a pillow case. SO, I had to make the sham into a case and go from there. Even with that, it only took me a few hours to make. The best part is, she loves it. She wanted to go to school to meet her oldest brother for lunch to show him. And, she asked if I could make her another "pretty" dress. So, I did, as I am always a sucker for a compliment. ;)

I just want to spend a day with you and soak in all your creativity...teach me how to use my sewing machine better, take better pictures, etc. :)
CUTE dress! (definitly one of my favorites to make) The model is precious too!! She looks so proud!!!
