Kelan had a Safari theme this year for his birthday. Hard to believe that he is already 5! It seems like I just just holding him in my arms as al little baby. A friend once told me the parenthood is filled with long days and short years. Is that that truth or what? Because Kelan is surely not a baby any more! And, weather it is called tradition, or lack of creativity, I am not quite sure, but when I went to put up Kelan's hand-made birthday banner, Kenzie screamed, "We're having a party!" I guess the birthday banner means party to Kenzie.

No way can anything about that party can be lack of creativity. The banner must be a much-loved tradition! It's all so cool! What a great "long" day to commemorate the "short" year. :)
