Dad

My dad was diagnosed with skin cancer, on his ear, a few weeks ago. Due to the thinness of the year the cancer can metastasize to other parts of the body much more easily. The doctor was afraid it might have spread to the lymph nods, blood and/or lungs. The blood test came back clear, as did the lung x-rays. Christmas Eve he went in for surgery to have the lymph nods removed in front and behind his left ear. Thankfully, the surgery went well and he is now undergoing what will hopefully be a speedy recovery. I know it is winter, but this spring and summer remember: "Wear your sunscreen!" We pray that the biopsy will come back negative and that will leave him cancer free! Thank you all for your prayers and love!
