Kelan got to choose our activities. He chose to go to the mall. First stop was PBK, because he loves to play with the play kitchen and home items. Then to the Disney store. Last stop was Dick's Sporting Goods, as that is Kelan's idea of paradise! On the way out of the mall, he wanted to stop and listen to the piano player at Nordstrom, which is always a treat for Kelan.
Since Kelan is really into sports right now, and baseball in particular, he asked for a baseball cake. And, of course, Mom did her best to recreate one.
His favorite gift this year was his first baseball mit; it is a little large for him, but that does not seem to bother him. He loves it! We finished off the day with Unlce Seth coming over for dinner, cake and presents. We all had a special day celebrating this little milestone with Kelan. He is truly a delight to this family!
